the sailor dress
a sailor dress for those of us who just can't get enough nautical love, complete with a
quilted, hand-printed collar that unfolds to keep rough trade winds off delicate necks. the
collar buttons at the front with 3 hand-braided and knotted buttons, tacked down by little
leather sniplets. these buttons and loops also adorn the sleeves. the dress is accompanied
by a sweet length of braided blue to use as a belt, if you so desire. also, there are in-seam
pockets at the sides for collected shells and whatnot.
this dress is made of organic brushed cotton that has been hand dyed and printed with our
own tidal detritus print, featuring all of your favorite seashore wash-ups. the puff layer in the
collar is organic cotton quilt batting. the leather sniplets are leftover from a long gone
commissioned project.
